I have been asked to look into Anthony Burrills’ work for inspiration for my final project. Anthony Burrill works across a range of media, including posters and combines an instinctive handling of colour and composition with a witty approach to words. He only uses a couple of different typefaces but they are always caps and bold in style.
For my work I’m trying to find typefaces that will suit the ‘voice’ of who is talking so I will probably have one handwritten one which will represent the childs’ voice and perhaps a bold sans serif to represent the adults voice. I am doing some trials at the moment.
